Tenmangu Japanese Shrine Pop-up Papercraft Template
This template allows you to build a pull-tab-activated pop-up paper toy initially designed by Utagawa Yoshifuji in mid-19th-century Japan, that I reworked and recreated for all to enjoy and craft.
The download-able file entails a presentation sheet in English and French, two sets of templates (one large, one small, for large and small home printers) and a link to a step-by-step, real-time tutorial video.
Original papercraft size = 75 x 174 mm (approx. 2.95 x 6.85 in) closed. Can be down/upsized.

John Tenniel’s 42 illustrations for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865), each with a short quotation from Lewis Carroll’s original text, in a fine miniature book!
This “Alice’s Favourite” edition also comes with – one additional, foldable cut-out silhouette figurine of the White Rabbit, – one color booklet with the 20 illustrations from Nursery “Alice” (1890), – all in a fine, deluxe color slipcase, – with one larger, amazing and very delicate pop-up spread that features plenty of characters and places from the book!

A collaboration with the renowned Australian street artist RONE (Tyrone Wright) for his installation TIME at Flinders St. Station in Melbourne, Australia (Oct 28, 2022 – Apr 28, 2023).
This large pop-up artwork features one of the rooms reworked by Rone, reinterpreted in volume and movement by me.

A humorous pop-up based on a play-on-words taking literally French expressions that include adjectives of colors – quite obscure! hahaha! (A “pink telephone” is a sex chat line, a “green number” is a toll-free number, and “yellow pages” mean quite the same, a business phone directory ; )
Patiently and meticulously made by the artist in Paris, France!
